Sabudana Available in 500g packs.
Angur Sabudana is made from the best quality tapioca and processed to ensure purity, uniformity in size and good cooking performance. Sabudana is made from the starch of the cassava root rather than grown as a grain, and is extracted, settled and dried into small pearls, a process that gives it a texture no seed or legume naturally has: soft and slightly chewy once cooked, with a clean, neutral flavour that takes on whatever it's cooked with.
This starch-only composition is what has earned sabudana a permanent place on the fasting table of India. Traditionally, grains and pulses are avoided during Navratri, Ekadashi and other fasting days, and sabudana comes in as a trusted source of quick, sustained energy, light on digestion, easy on the stomach and filling without being heavy. It is this very quality that has taken it far beyond fasting kitchens, into everyday snacks like crispy Sabudana Vada and desserts like soft, milky Sabudana Kheer, served all over Maharashtra and Gujarat in particular.
Since 1965, Angur has been bringing the finest toor dal from the fields of Gujarat to kitchens across the country, growing into a name trusted nationwide as "Guniyal Naari ni Ek Matra Pasand." Today, that same legacy of quality and genuine flavour lives on in every Angur product, from the very toor dal we started with to staples like Sabudana.
Angur Sabudana is cleaned with care and packed hygienically to ensure consistent texture and freshness in every recipe; pearls that cook evenly, hold their shape, and never turn gummy or undercooked. A dependable, quick-energy staple for fasting days and everyday snacks and desserts alike.
